In the first week of October, we teamed up with our amazing friends at Nakoa Digital to host a special Oktoberfest pre-event in Munich - and what a day it was! From marketplace insights to Bavarian delights, we brought together a large number of brands to share ideas, swap stories, and celebrate collaboration (yes, in full Lederhosen and Dirndl spirit!).
For us at ChannelEngine, it was more than an event. It was a celebration of how we meet brands where they are and build genuine partnerships while having fun along the way.
Marketplace insights with a Bavarian twist
Our team took the stage, in full Oktoberfest spirit, for a panel discussion alongside Marc Setzer and Patrick Bauernfeind, exploring the success story of Otto Kessler GmbH on US marketplaces. It was an inspiring exchange about growth, adaptation, and how strong local partnerships can drive global marketplace success.

The day was filled with insightful lectures, customer conversations, and new ideas for marketplace growth. We ended the day by raising a Stein in true Bavarian fashion to great partnerships, shared achievements, and future opportunities. 🍻
Listening, learning, and growing together
At ChannelEngine, we’ve learned that innovation starts with listening, really listening to the brands we work with. Whether it’s during a panel discussion, a hallway chat, or while sharing a Stein at Oktoberfest, every conversation gives us a valuable window into the real challenges, goals, and ambitions that shape their journey.
When brands open up about what drives them, they’re helping shape the future of how we grow together. Their experiences guide us in refining our platform, improving our solutions, and evolving as partners who don’t just connect brands to marketplaces but also help them thrive there.
This ongoing dialogue is also a reminder that success doesn’t come from technology alone - it comes from trust, shared vision, and the willingness to learn from one another.
For us, that’s what Oktoberfest was all about: celebrating partnership in its truest form. We laughed, we listened, and we left inspired by the incredible brands and people who make this community so vibrant.
