[Leiden, the Netherlands, 19/09/23] – ChannelEngine's CEO and Founder, Jorrit Steinz, today announced the following:
I'm sharing an important announcement that we made internally this morning.
While ChannelEngine has seen a massive growth in recent years, our growth for this year is lower than anticipated due to the economic conditions we are all currently navigating. As a result, we've made the tough decision to restructure our business, which unfortunately includes a 10% reduction of our workforce.
With a heavy heart I communicated this news to the ChannelEngine team this morning.
I deeply appreciate the contributions of our colleagues who have been invaluable in our journey.
We're making these changes to ensure ChannelEngine's future success, but we understand the impact it has on our people. We aim to make the transition as smooth as possible for all impacted team members.
Despite the challenges we face, we firmly believe in the opportunities ahead. We are in a prime position to provide the best ecommerce solution for brands and retailers, having gained traction and proven our ability to succeed. We have a clear strategy in place and will continue our journey to provide the largest and best ecommerce network and operating platform globally.
